Do Digital Pianos Ever Go Out of Tune?

Short answer: No. Digital pianos like those from Kadence don’t go out of tune because there’s nothing in it to tune in the first place.
Unlike acoustic pianos that rely on strings, hammers, and a tuning peg system, digital pianos use pre-recorded, perfectly tuned samples. These samples don’t change with humidity, temperature, or time. Whether it’s day one or year five, middle C will still sound like middle C.
But if something does sound “off,” chances are you’ve accidentally nudged a transpose setting or altered the master tuning; both are reversible with a few button presses or a quick reset.
It is also worth noting that most Kadence digital piano models are designed to mimic the sound and feel of acoustic pianos.
In sum:
Digital pianos don’t drift out of tune. And Kadence digital pianos certainly don’t. Our digital pianos are designed to stay pitch-perfect: clear, consistent, and ready to deliver exceptional sound every time you sit down to play.
